Art Theory: BVA313 - 26/02/2019

Creating a specific question central to my year three project in theoretical and practiced based.

Key aspect:

1. Key approach/methodology
2. Key aspect about audience
3. Key theoretical term
4. Key theoretical component of question

My key aspect is on the "Key aspect about audience", by informing my audience the greatness of acceptance on diversity in nowadays multi diversified society.

More engagement with the audience through music, lighting and drawings (mark making style)

Activity: Brainstorm the following terms and how they relate to my year 3 project.

Production - Mark Making, Drawings
Reception - Gallery, Installation Art
Authorship - Experience and Historical context
Technologies - Looking for more information, Music (more realistic environment)

Things to note down for question
  • Start to identity theorists and locate specific texts
  • Engage with and discuss specific ideas and their context (cultural, social, historical, political)
  • Aim is to start to situate your specific studio research question within its theoretical framework.
  • Key terms (acceptance, diversify, society, identity, personal experience, historical content)

Re-Thinking documentation

The interrogation(vigorous and critical) of ideas and reflection(looking back) on practice. Lots of questioning .
Means you begin to use the physical time and activity of recording work in progress as a time of Parallel reflection, analysis and critique.

Active documentation is a process of knowledge construction that may be regarded as a distinct research method appropriate to practice-based research projects in art and design. Keeping it up to date.
