The relationship between the body and fashion
Question: Will the clothing of Cinderellas from two different situations reflects nowadays society on personal appearance?
My question came from my final year project titled: The Cinderellas. The Cinderellas talks about the acceptance of cultural diversity in nowadays society while in this theory paper, I will be narrowing this aspect and looking into the clothing worn by each Cinderella. How society status is depicted through fashion/ clothing?

The saying "Clothes make the man". An anthropological assumption of KANT is that a person likes to imitate his superiors and that fashion is a manifestation of this situation.
To be recognized by others is to gain recognition from others.

This study aims to investigate the influence of mediated globalization on these daily dress decisions by exploring how magazines, television, and cinema influence a sense of cultural identity and how this identity is then expressed through fashion or style of dress.
A connection between media and globalization.
Stated media plays a vital role in the process of globalization, effecting identity construction and fashion sense.

Cloth and clothing are an integral part of the human experience at both the material and symbolic levels.
Michelangelo Antoniono is one of the most quoted sources that portrays his actress's personality through fashion.
The chapter "Framing the self, staging identity: Clothing and Italian style film of Michelangelo Antonio", talks shares more information about the theory and making of this film.

Costume designed by Andriana Berselli, Apparently the only outfit not completely agreed by the costume designer, who thought that the suit, chosen by Monica Vitti herself, conveyed a different and more bourgeois perception of Claudia's character.
Costume plays well for Claudia's search for identity.
The Director orchestra the actresses to worm symbolic representation of the main character(Anna) and her best friend (Claudia).
