Term one review and research Boot camp

Identifying a specific question central to my practice through:

  1. Key approach/Methodology e.g art/sci, heuristic, socially engaged.
  2. Key aspect about audience, reception e.g raise awareness, inform.
  3. Key theoretical term e.g performative, empowerment. 
  4. Key theoretical component of question e.g value, art/craft, function. 
Through identifying those key aspect, it is about to engage in the cultural significance reflected in or by the production. reception, authorship and technological aspects of practitioners work relevant to my questioning. 

Activity to search for each keyword: 


Search for journal that relates to "production", "reception", "authorship", or "technology" + own keyword
Artist model that share similar keyword as my own work.
using APA references to annotate.

What is active documentation? 
A studio practice research method which documents the work done.
Utilizes blogs, containing visual and written material.
Documents the interrogation of ideas and reflection in/on practice.
contains supporting and contextualizing information put to use during making and reflecting in/on practice.
Documents regular questioning what/why/how of your project making and thinking, and decision making.
Documents how projects questioning and contexts are being informed.

Why???
it shows how practitioners responses to any problems and also shows development of methods and theoretical orientation. work is able to be easily locate and shows a clear progression and focus.
