Ideas for The Three Cinderellas: 

At term 1, Marcus suggested an idea for my work, that is combining three of the Cinderella into 1. After some thoughts towards the idea, I figure that I can try that idea (And my forte is actually portrait work, or something that is more realistic. Art work rather than I illustration. Still want to try digital painting)

Description

This cotton fabric block shows the Nightingale who sang so beautifully that he brought the Emperor of China back from the jaws of Death! In this plate we can see the head Gentleman in Waiting who has gone out to the garden to inspect the little bird. It is a reproduction based on a vintage book illustration by artist Edmund Dulac, from the book Stories from Hans Anderson.

My own work

I like this style more: It gives more narrative and expression. (in portraying myself as the princess ??) With some colours to suggest more on my narrative. 

Artist model: Alex Konahin – 16/07/2019

The style created from Alex is very similar to my pevious style. His subject involved much of floral patterns, cultural symbols and traditional ornamentation with Renaissance floral patterns. 

Material: 

-       A drawing with an old-fashioned pencil then switches to pen and india ink as his main tools. 

Incorporate his idea into my own work. 

Idea: 

1)    Portrait covered with traditional symbols.

2)    An art work with element from three culture (mixture of the three)
