The MMOMA Education Center on 17 Ermolaevsky Lane was opened in the winter 2017 on the one of the four venues of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. The creation of such a Center has become a logical development of the museum’s activity in the sphere of education and popularization of contemporary art, which allows to consolidate and expand all existing educational projects of the museum. The Center is made with taking into account international experience and modern museum technologies. It widens the diversity of audience experience and gives an opportunity to get new knowledge in the field of contemporary art and related disciplines for all comers, regardless of the previous educational background.

An important goal of the center is to support young art by creating a productive environment for the generation and innovative creative initiatives not only in the cultural sphere, but also in the related to the art fields — science, history, philosophy and literature.

Mission: 
Support, development, promotion, and popularization of contemporary art in the interest of humanity and society.
Goals:
• Formation of an opportune environment for the development of Russian contemporary art
• Integration of Russian contemporary art into the international cultural context
• Development of a cooperation platform between Russian and international institutions, artists, curators, theorists and critics and other experts in the field of contemporary art
• Creation of a sustainable interest for contemporary art as a necessary condition for improving the quality of life and developing contemporary civil society

Moscow: Art Gallery 
the main museum of Russian national art, reflecting its unique contribution to world culture. It is a hospitable museum that is known for its rich collection and variety of presented ideas.
The Tretyakov Gallery has three main goals:

  • To study, preserve, represent and popularise the art of Russia;
  • To form a Russian cultural identity, drawing the attention of society to the important role of art in general and collection in particular. To continue the life-work of P.M.Tretyakov, introducing residents of the country with the national artistic heritage;
  • To make people's lives better by opening wide access to masterpieces of Russian and world art.

IEVGEN PETROV 
One of the best contemporary watercolorists in the world.
Water color - a very rare technique used in contemporary art. Artist proves that   he can stay actual even in classical, traditional style. Size and accuracy are astonishing. However, the technique is less important than subject, where annoying social phenomena is the key topic of his works. Petrov is the unique documentary maker.



RUSTAM MIRZOEV 
Ukrainian artist, works  with the acrylic and charcoal on canvas technique.
The individual project by the most mystical artist of TSEKH Gallery, Rustam Mirzoev, – «ALMOST REALITY» (2016 – TSEKH gallery, Vilnius, Lithuania) – is about the conflict of the two realities – the aesthetical (true) and virtual (fictional) ones.
