Planning for Exhibition
In this exhibition I wanted to focus on the reception of my work and the aspect of the layout and again introduce the QR code that links to my online platform (website which links to my main webpage, instagram and facebook).
From my last experience, I realised that the message of my illustration wasn't clear. It was merge with too many elements that made my audience miss out many highlights of the project "Cinderella". This time I specify on the Cinderella character that merges with the cultures that I have experienced in my live (living in New Zealand and Malaysia). I hope that this layout can project my aspect on diversity clearer than before.
Technology is now becoming more and more important in our daily life. It is an element that gives artist access to their audience without going through the art gallery. Other than that, I wanted to show this work to people that had experienced/ experiencing difficulties in diversity.
Aim for this exhibition:
I wanted to experiments the reaction for this kind of approach. For the last exhibition, I really wanted to present my work at the SIT library. Once I have more reflection on my work in this exhibition at the RAW GALLERY, I will start to develop a larger work to install at the library along with my QR code.
