How do I process my feelings about cultural alienation in being a 4th generation of Chinese woman in Malaysia by using the internationally known Cinderella story, Malaysian traditional costume, and 21st century visual elements to communicate with viewers?
The definition of Malaysian Chinese/ Chinese Malaysian seems to be different.

Iconography, symbolism, communicates
- Communicating with people now.
-- Example of some works that reflect the reception of their contemporary time. (Traci gave an example from the iconography on the stain glass in the time BC, like medieval time.
Cultural alienation in art (Authorship):
A woman of one race wearing another race.
**segregation of culture because of the education institution.
-- Chinese physical appearance (yellow skin, small eyes, typical features) along with Malay traditional costume.
