Research/Studio: BVA 316/ 303 - 08/10/2019 (Rough sketches on "The Cinderella" mock up)
Thoughts on layout for the three illustration.- Should all be in vertical or horizontal.
- This is being thought due to the last presentation. I place my work in a vertical form just on a piece of board. For this final exhibition, I plan to place it in a horizontal way, like how we normally read a book or article, from left to right.
- Merging different cultures into one work (One Scene)
Scene 1: Cinderella seen doing domestic work at home.
-Emotion: Depressed, sad, tiring, dirty.
-Only hope is going to the ball.
-Many chores waiting her to be accomplished.
Scene Two: The appearance of fairy god mother. (Cinderella's transformation and Pumpkin Car)
-Emotion: Excited, magical, hopeful.
-Glimpse of hope.

**I wanted the visual of the pumpkin car either being merge as one or in the process of merging in.
Scene Three: The Happily Ever After.
- The grand finale.
- Emotion: Happiness, Magical, Happily ever after.
Final Idea
These are the scenes to focus on. All in big scale which also includes symbolic items that I would like to highlight on my project. Now finding out which way its best to highlight, a very obvious way too.
Because from the previous exhibition, using illustration does not identify the differences between cultures. (Chinese/Malay & European/New Zealanders).
