Studio/ Research: BVA 316/ BVA 303 - 24/10/2019 (INSTALLATION DAY)

Installation day for think and create.
Reached library around 12pm, immediately starting to stick sticky tapes on the back of my illustrations

The sticky paper and one of my figures. One of the figures was cut to space in a certain scene. It's Scene 2 because it needs to fit the space that would block the mice figures.
Public area. There were many people going back and forth in the library. It is an ideal place to present there as many people will walk in that direction and see the work unintentionally.

Another scene of the public space in SIT.
Scene 1
Scene 2
Scene 3
Went back to school to pick up artist statements. Immediately rush back to school to finish up the installation.
Information column. Cut off the QR code printed below the artist statement as another code has been used.
The final view of my final work. YAY.

There are many positive comments when I was installing my work at the library. Jerry Hoffman is one of them that's happy with the installation. He suggested and encourage Cat to present more of this project in the future.
This has been a great experience. I am grateful to have Kathryn as my research tutor, giving me ideas that ables me to overcome my own boundaries in creating art.
If I had the chance to exhibit again, I will definitely go for A0 size, a bigger size in a bigger public space, or maybe creating an installation work?? But I will definitely stick with interpreting fairy tale story in my own work.
